Hello, I have been a Nevada resident since moving to Reno in 1974. I joined Dickson Realty in 2005 as a licensed Real Estate Agent and eventuall obtaining a Rental Property Manager license as well. I come from a family of Realtors who have specialized in the Reno/Sparks/Lake Tahoe area since the mid 1970's. Specifically Robbie Edwards, my business partner, friend and most importantly my Mother. After my Father (Gary Sr) retired from a career in the military & aviation he obtained his Realtor license, best known for working at the model homes in Wingfeild Springs. Along with my sister, two cousins and my aunt Liz Laxalt, who I thank for starting us all on this wonderful career of Real Estate. I mentored under Robbie for several years before obtaining my license to practice Real Estate. I would like to think of myself as a well rounded Agent and not someone who specializes in just one field.

The following is a list of my most successful business endeavors. First time home buyers, Out of state Buyers and Sellers, Trust Properties, Luxury Homes, 55+ Communities, Investment Properties, Vacation/second homes, the Condominium market and Property Management. Along with a tremendous of experience in the foreclosure and short sale market as well. I feel blessed to have a career that I truly love and enjoy. In my opinion, in order to be a successful Agent, I think you have to have a solid relationship with your client. A relationship that must be built on trust.

The only way to gain that trust is through hard work and honesty. Being truthful and having a strong work ethic in my opinion are two of my best qualities as a Realtor. To me a successful transaction is when at the end of the deal both sides feel that they have come out as a winner. My hope is when the transaction is complete, my clients know they have found a competent Realtor and a friend. I truly believe that being a Realtor is a priviledge. It's not just a job or a business but a responsibilty to the public. It's my duty to help guide and protect clients when they are making one of the most important financial decisions of their lives whether they are Buying or Selling.
